Dreams?

Well, well, it's a new day, it's a new start. But it's not alive with the beating of young hearts. For that's a Bryan Adams song (and maybe a cliche too).
Lately, I've been having weird dreams. Really, really weird. Last night was so weird that it could have outdone (and outclassed) Lady Gaga and her meat dress at the MTV Awards. By 69 miles or more. Anyway, I saw Abhishek. That we were married and celebrating out first night...full of passion..and then he had to go back to studies because apparently he was still a student, one of those part-timers who is preparing for some course along with their daily jobs. Then the scene switched to the zoo, and him dropping me off at its gate, me picking up my suitcase and trundling in slowly, seeing cages all around me, the decayed smell of animal carcasses and faeces filling my nostrils. Then I saw myself climbing up a ladder. It was on top of a mountain, with a river in full spate flowing beneath it. The waves were gray, churning dangerously underneath me, as I hung on for dear life, in a rappelling sort of way. I saw Sudeep (with his rotund face), Ma'am Aloma (with her really flabby upper arms), Sumaiyaa (with her long long body), even Chharia. It was an amalgamation of long-lost people who seemed to have, for no reason known or unknown, suddenly found a place back in my busy life.
The river, the mountain, the zoo, stench and decay, corpses --- do they have a meaning? Are my dreams trying to say something to me? I reckon I'll never find that out.
