Random musings...again.

Sometimes I miss those spontaneous, romantic gestures of the past. Those short emails, the e-cards from Santabanta.com, egreetings.com or 123.com, saying sorry or just a simple 'I love you.' I wonder where those days went. Maybe what you have is never good enough and you keep thinking about the past as well as the future. At this time, I miss even those 10 minute conversations we used to have, when I knew at least that I had someone to fall back upon. It's kinda very different now. Technically, I know there is someone there. But what's the point if we don't share things or don't have the time to talk to each other? If career and work are such important things, why even think of a relationship? Isn't it fair and just to both the people if they stay away from a relationship when they know they won't be able to give any time or adjust/accommodate even a tiny bit? You can't be imposing all the time and expect it to work. It will only work up till a certain point. After that, the other person will just ask you to fuck off and leave. It's as simple as that. Well, it's not really that simple but that is what happens all the time. Ask me. I have that experience.
