El Clasico.
Ronaldo proved once again why he's grossly overrated and too good for himself. I call him a small-team bully. In the El Clasico at the Bernabeu, he missed a couple of sitters and was reduced to taking the free-kicks in his usual style -- legs wide apart, shoulders squared, pout, pout and more pout. Tool.
What was frightening was how Barca still managed to pwn Real despite not playing at their best. They appeared slow, holding on to the ball, almost unwilling to attack in the later stages. 3-1 was a good enough score but I think the Catalans could have scored at least two more.
Iniesta. Brilliant performance. Big-match player. Messi with that assist for Alexis -- simply sublime. Xavi -- running rings around the Real players as usual. Cesc -- showed Ronaldo what it means to take chances and not be wasteful. (And maybe apply slightly less hair-gel too).
Happy to see the Real brigade (fans and media alike) being put in their place. Mortal fear of Barca? Maybe. Couldn't keep up with the constant pressing up in the field? Possibly. Losers, again? Definitely.
Final score: Real Madrid 1 (Karim Benzema) - Barcelona 3 (Alexis Sanchez, Xavi/Marcelo o.g., Cesc Fabregas)
