Food, good company and sunshine.
Lunch at Andhra Bhawan it was. Gorged on a vegetarian thali, asked for rice tons of times, drizzled it with lots of ghee, put away five bowls of rasam. Stuffed ourselves like crazy, then walked all the way to CP again, groaning loudly with every step, much to the consternation of passers-by. Wanted a place to sit, ended up at Central Park. Found a nice spot, lay there basking in the sun, something we never get to do. Admired the bright blue sky and squinted up at the weak, pale yellow sun. Stretched out on the green grass, wanted to turn into a cow and stay there forever. Watched people all around me, merrily sunning themselves. Groups of friends and colleagues. Couples indulging in PDA.
Life should be green and colourful, like my shoes. Or the grass. Or the clothes we wear. Or like the people we see on the roads. Or the ice lollies in different flavours. And the sprinkles over the chocolate doughnut in the shelf at Wenger’s.
