Bleh....random....

Why does it happen with some people that their best friends tend to fall for them and ask them out? What is one supposed to do in such a scenario -- it similar to running from the frying pan and jumping into the fire. You end up effectively screwing up a lovely friendship, lose a friend in the process and also destroy a wonderful relationship. Why cannot life be simple?
