Who knows tomorrow?
The ink has dried up. Literally. The pen won't work -- something in its tank has jammed -- so I am back to scribbling my thoughts here on a daily (rather, nightly) basis. Fruitful day, followed a healthy lifestyle, woke up bright and early, consumed enough water, ran 4.1 kilometres in the dirty air. Feel like a champ! Listened to a lot of Atif Aslam, felt sad and morose. Then watched a lot of TVF videos to lift up my spirits. Planning to drive down to Agra tomorrow. JLT. Which means 'just like that'. It's close to full moon nowadays, nearing Diwali, so planning to just gaze at the Taj - the eternal symbol of love - all alone. As is my wont. Hardly surprised. But might not get to do that, might have to contend with noon viewing as I want to drive back by the end of the day. Roads are unsafe for single women and all that. I'm a good driver, I pride myself on that fact. I like a man who can confidently handle a car, secure in the knowledge that for a change I can be in the passenger seat and just relax. Although that's a rarity -- even when there's a chance I prefer to drive as that's who I am. So the long drive is more of an opportunity to be on the road, clear my head, listen to some great music, drink some roadside-dhaba-wali chai as feeling romantic at the Taj. Happy days!
