March 29, 2008 (Saturday)

Today was a pretty normal day. Except that we had real fun at work. I mean... Ankita, Neha and me must be the goofiest trio of interns any company has ever recruited. We are adventurous, we are crazy, we sing weird songs while doing the page....we just seem to care for no one or nothing around us and go on in our own wild manners. Today, we decided to be highly adventurous and "take the road-less-travelled". We decided to go up to the 16th floor of HT House and check out what was there on the upper levels. We boarded the elevator that was going uptil the top-most level, kept giggling meaninglessly throughout the journey, with people staring at us as if we were some kind of looney characters. I mean.....who keeps laughing and guffawing and chuckling over stupid things apart from a bunch of college-going, still-fresh-and-not-into-any-serious-profession girls? We just kept laughing and laughing, with cups of C2 in our hands (C2 - Corporate Coffee. Its the coffee we slyly get from the second floor, so called because it tastes better than the one made on the first floor, which is J2/P2 - or Journalistic Coffee/Patrakaar Coffee - sugarless, bland, and yech!) We got off on the 16th floor, and bang! walked right into the carpeted office of The Wall Street Journal - Mint. And there was this guard who was staring expectantly at us, wanting to know why we had walked into their offices. We managed to mumble something incoherent about having an appointment with some lady who had still not turned up, inspite of having called us...and fled thankfully....all the while giggling! We then decided to take the stairs to the 17th floor, which was smelling awful! And Neha morbidly declared that it was the stench of a corpse!!! God....we just tumbled downstairs like barrels of cylinders. Then we discovered posh offices of DSP Merrill Lynch and the recording studio of Fever 104 on the lower levels. We came down and reached our office, in a much satisfied state of having uselessly taken a trip of the entire building, from the top to the bottom! :)

Then...we played our usual everyday game of peek-a-boo with K. That guy must think we are some kind of leches, with the way we peep into his cubicle and stare at him. He already thinks that Neha is hitting on him...now he will even bring me into the picture even though I have no such intentions! He blushed a deep red and grinned awkwardly when he saw us peeping into his office, and all the while we were literally rolling on the floor with laughter, in front of the elevator. I am sure that the people on the first floor have branded us crazy loons....the other day, even Mayank asked us what we were upto...and we were so busy laughing that we couldn't even come up with a sensible answer!! I am 100 per cent sure that everyone has taken us as some kind of immature, childish, utterly-juvenile, mad freaks....but its fun nonetheless!!

Am off to sleep now....ciao!! :)
